Could your commercial neighborhood benefit from a Business Pulse walk?
A Business Pulse walk offers an opportunity to connect face to face in an informal way. It entails canvassing a commercial neighborhood, going door to door and speaking with business owners for 5 to 10 minutes asking 3 to 5 questions.
By taking “the pulse” of the business community, while at the same time identifying common themes for action, a community can become better equipped to support and stimulate economic activity in the area. A Business Pulse Report is then drafted and presented to key stakeholders.
One example of Business Pulse in action is the Queensbury Ave Retail Business Pulse. EPNV conducted a retail Business Pulse in the Queensbury commercial node to check the health of business in the area. The Business Pulse identified the top issues for the area as well as outlined proposed strategies for solutions.
